Gorilla is the largest primate species. The gorillas diet consists of vegetables, although it may also eat insects. Therefore gorillas can be classified as omnivores. Gorillas come from tropical forests in Africa. 97-98% of gorilla DNA is identical to human DNA. Gorillas are the second species after chimpanzees that are closest to humans. There are two species in the gorilla genus, namely the eastern gorilla and the western gorilla.
